This event is organised and written by:
Sean Sauren
Sean (33) has been larping and organising events since he was 16. He went to his first international event in 2019, and never looked back. He’s now got organisational and writing experience in both historical larps and fantasy events. In his day job he works as a policy officer for the Dutch Government.
Tina Reißig
Tina (47) started larping in 1997 and after various German larps of all kinds she eventually fell in love with the international larp community. In contrast to her very analytic day-job at a bank, she loves to be creative in her free-time. She started learning Dutch just so she could go to more larps.
Bee
Bee (52) discovered larp in 1995 and never really stopped. Over the years she has helped create and run many events, often in unusual locations. She loves designing stories full of dramatic and emotional connections, and can never resist a bit of political intrigue in the mix. Semi-historical is her sweet-spot-genre. She spends the more mundane part of her life as a consultant for non-profit organisations.
Jimmy Raaimakers
Jimmy (45) has been playing Larps since 1998. He’s played most anything from experimental chamber Larps to huge fantasy boffer events and has been a Larp organiser for many years. He loves both murder mysteries and Gothic stories, so couldn’t refuse the chance to help organise this larp. In daily life he works as a lawyer for the Dutch government.
Karijn van der Heij
Karijn (41) has been playing and creating larps in the Netherlands since the early 2000s, and internationally since about ten years later. She has a particular interest in character writing and characters as a way of storytelling, and is always keen to work with different teams and projects to hone that craft. She is also a history geek with a huge soft spot for historical larps.
Further organisers are:
The ships cook
Jolanda de Waal
No stranger to the kitchen or a ship, this ex-naval officer (in training) has cooked for a plethora of events and always puts in the extra mile to make the food thematically fit the event.
On-shore support
Lies van Velze
This longtime larporganiser and landlubber will take care of anything that doesn’t require her to get on a ship. She has experience organising both national and international larps and enjoys larps as long as there’s drama to play on.
